NV Gold Eyes Nevada To Discover The Next Multi-Million oz Gold Resource
Jim Gordon John Watson, Chairman and Interim CEO of NV Gold Corporation, has joined Jim Gordon's Market One Minute team to discuss the company's primary focus on gold exploration in Nevada. The company is listed on the TSX Ventures, the OTCQB, and in Germany on the Frankfurt exchanges. It is also listed on both the TSV and the OTOQB. The Triple T property, located near Lovelock, Nevada, is a high-priority project. The next steps in the discovery process will be an induced potential, or IP, geophysical program to cover an area north-south from the existing drilling. Additionally, Watson discusses the Slumber Gold Project, where additional work was conducted this year where mercury vapor analysis of soils indicated potential for higher-grade gold deposits.

Hi, I'm Jim Gordon, and you're watching Market One Minute. Joining us is John Watson. He's the Chairman and Interim CEO of NV Gold Corporation. John, welcome.
Thanks for having me today, Jim.
It is a pleasure to have you, sir. Okay, tell us about NV Gold Corporation and where it's listed for trading.
NV Gold is a junior exploration company that is focused on the state of Nevada. We are listed both on the TSX Ventures, the OTCQB, and in Germany on the Frankfurt exchanges. Our symbol in Canada is NVX.
Okay, and John, tell us about your primary exploration focus.
Well, our exploration focus is on gold. We are looking strictly in the state of Nevada for gold deposits there, we have three high priority projects, one of which, we have just completed a drill program and we call that the Triple T program. And it is located near Lovelock, Nevada.
And John, can you tell us more about the Triple T gold property?
Yes, I can. We started a drilling program early this summer and we reported results in early August. It was a very successful program. We drilled 14 reverse circulation holes, very shallow holes on an outcropping portion of a large gold system. And 13 of the 14 holes had significant gold intercepts.
And John, what are the next steps in the discovery process?
The next steps here, a lot of the perspective geology here is covered with a thin limestone layer, which is actually a positive because it has preserved the thrust fault mineralized zone that we are targeting. So the next step is actually going to be an induced potential, or IP, geophysical program which will cover an area north-south from the existing drilling.
And John, finally, what is happening at the Slumber Gold Project?
We did some additional work on Slumber this year where we did some mercury vapor analysis of the soils there, which is a technique for looking through recent cover, like a valley floor alluvium. And the alluvium at Slumber is anywhere from 10 to maybe 50 meters thick. And so what you're looking for is an exhalation of mercury and very sensitive analysis to find where the mercury might be at a higher concentration, indicating that there could be a gold deposit below or a higher grade of goal deposit below. So we've done quite a bit of drilling there already. We've done 29 holes in three programs previously, and now this is a follow up to look for some higher-grade intersections.
John, thanks for joining us.
Thank you for having me. Glad to be aboard.
Great to have you on board.
