Here are tonight's latest Leeds United evening headlines on Monday, October 23.

Daniel Farke's perfect Carrow Road return capped off with Team of the Week inclusion

A dramatic comeback win, a rousing reception by the home fans and plaudits over the classy way he handled facing his old team. Daniel Farke's return to Carrow Road to face his former employers Norwich City went just about as well as the Leeds United manager could have hoped.

After seeing his Leeds side go in 2-0 down at half-time, Farke helped inspire a comeback that saw an own goal from Shane Duffy followed up by an equaliser and then a winner for Crysencio Summerville with five minutes left. The win has seen Leeds move up to third in the Championship table as the Whites look to chase down leaders Leicester City and second-place Ipswich Town in the other automatic promotion spot.

Farke's productive Saturday has now been capped off by his inclusion in the EFL Team of the Week for the Championship, with the German pipping his managerial colleagues to the honour. Also recognised for his performance on the pitch is Summerville, who has now notched up four goals and supplied two assists this term.

Next up for Leeds is a Wednesday night visit to Stoke City.

Orta on that Leeds United directors' box incident, his Whites pride, Sevilla

Former Leeds United sporting director Victor Orta has opened up on the coming together he had with a supporter at Elland Road back in December 2021. Orta, who is now working with Sevilla after parting ways with Leeds at the backend of last season, wore his heart on his sleeve during his time in West Yorkshire and on several occasions emotions got the better of him.

However, the heated argument he had with a supporter after watching Leeds’ dramatic draw with Brentford a couple of seasons back, was particularly striking, with TV cameras showing the Spaniard being held back while shouting at someone in the Elland Road directors’ box. He was then seen putting his finger to his lips as others tried to calm him down.

It was an incident that made national headlines at the time and Orta has moved to explain his actions, insisting he heard the person in question threaten his family.

Leeds United loanee Robin Koch 'can imagine' where his future lies

On loan Leeds United defender Robin Koch says he can imagine a future at Eintracht Frankfurt after joining the Bundesliga side on a season-long loan from the Whites. The German defender was part of the Leeds United side that was relegated from the Premier League with the worst defensive record in the division.

However, Koch has found some stability at Frankfurt and surpassing early expectations with the Bundesliga outfit. The 27-year-old sees his Elland Road contract expire in the summer of 2024 and the loan clause in his deal, allowing him to leave as long as a club covers his wages, means the Whites are unlikely to recoup any of their £13million invested when he signed for the club.

Although his future seemingly lies away from Leeds, both Koch and Frankfurt have kept their cards close to their chest until recently. In an interview with Kicker, Koch said: “I feel very comfortable here and have thought about the decision very carefully. Before the move, I also asked some players what it was like here."
